Trip overview

A day trip to get out of busy Hanoi city with 80 minutes by bus from Hanoi centre with peaceful scenery of countryside along the road . The Perfume Pagoda (Chùa Hương) is a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone Huong Tich mountains. You will glide along scenic waterways and walk up steep mountain paths visiting the pagodas and temples that were built in this area over the last centuries. You will have some great activities to do this trip such as : a peaceful time on sampan boat along Yen stream, visit ancient pagoda + temple with traditional architecture , next with optional to do the cable to enjoy the wonderful mountain view and last to enter the gorgeous Thien Tru cave in the peak of the mountain . It is such a good way for people who want your day to be special .

Tour itinerary

Full day: (L)

8.00am – 8.30am : Our tour guide and bus will come to pick you up in your hotel’s lobby or Funny Travel's office and then depart to Perfume Pagoda

9.45am : Arrive in Perfume wharf then get on boat , Enjoy the best time of visiting this area on Yen Stream on the Local boat about 1 hour to Thien Tru harbor.

11.30-12-30 pm :Enjoy the local food in local restaurant

After lunchtime, you will enjoy time to trekking go up and down visit the main cave, step by step you will arrive Huong Tich cave on the top of the mountain (Cable Car for one way or two way available).

You can choose to enjoy this cable car both two ways, or just take one way on cable car going up to the mountain, and going down to the mountain on walking.

Then you will come back by row-boat trip to back to the harbor. We will back on our car waiting, and then drive back to Hanoi

18 - 18.30pm : Be back to your place in Hanoi

Joe organized our holidays in north Vietnam from a list of ideas submitted by mail. He gave us good advices, especially about transit time.We've been taken from the airport on the arrival to the departure at the airport. all the hotels were nice with good surprises in some places. We went to Halong bay, of course, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Perfume Pagoda...I really appreciate the help from Joe, always ..More
