Hanoi countryside Cycling Tour ( 6 Hours )

Note : We are flexible to offer a Van support to pick you + bike back to our office + store for the way back if you just like to do it in one way (surcharge : 20USD per Van )

Detail itinerary

8.30am : Pick up in our Funny Travel office or your hotel then depart to Co Loa Citadle by bicycle

Starting this lovely trip by passing hitoric bridge named Long Bien which is across on red river ,

Start pedaling through the small alleys of Bac Bien village to the Duong River,

Ride along the dike through the local villages. You will see many traditional typical houses, pagodas, temples, local markets and be surrounded by beautiful rice paddy fields and farms growing vegetables and corn. Stop off at a local “bar” in a village for a rest and drink, & hear the interesting history of the An Duong Vuong Dynasty (over 2,000 years ago).

Visit An Duong Vuong King Temple, Trong Thuy Prince’s Well, Community’s house . Then, cycle around the remains of the ancient citadel and its beautiful gardens, and through more rice fields and villages.Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Go through quiet villages to the dike of the Red River. We reach a local house in the traditional style, and chat with the villagers to learn about their lives and work. Cycling on top of the dike along the Red River, we will see where two great rivers meet.

Stop by a local temple on the bank of the Red River. If we’re lucky, we may see a unique ceremony of Vietnamese people, “Len Dong” (going into a trance). Foreigners are fascinated by this unique ceremony!

Have a drink with a family in the village to know more about their life, and how the village and area are changing.

Return to the hotel Co Loa Ancient Cycling tour finish at 3-4pm in the afternoon
